5:365 Communication

In today’s world, we have all kinds of electronic gadgets and gismos that allow us to communicate with anyone we want . . . anytime we want. There was a time when the rural mail carrier was a very important connection with the rest of the world. He brought letters, dresses, seeds, and even animals to farm families. This is theme #60 Communication.

Thanks for reminding me what fun it was to get the mail back in the day. You never knew what was going to be in it!

I love "road" pictures, and this one is extra nice because you haven't really focused on the road! Nice interpretation of the theme!

"Snail Mail" - it's one of my resolutions. I love the winding road in the background.

Who would have thought the mailbox would be less important than it used to be? I still love mailing cards and letters, I think it is just more personal! Great shot w/ the scenery in behind.

I love the winding road and the red mailbox.

I like the way the road pulls the eye into the photo, to the mail box and out of the frame. Cool!Unique take on the theme, too!

Well composed with the road as the leading line. And a clever take on the theme.
