11:365 Celestial Body

11:365 Celestial Body
The full moon this weekend is to be the biggest of this year. It is supposed to be 14% bigger and 30% brighter than typical full moons. So why not take a picture? This is theme #43 Celestial Body.

Nice shot, Clara.

It's been cloudy and snowing here for days so I guess I'll miss the opportunity to try (yet again) for a good moon shot.

I keep forgetting to go look at that marvelous moon myself. Darn it. Your photo turned out fabulous!

Gorgeous photo - the luminous moon, deep blue sky and delicate branches are wonderful.

Great photo... You can really see the man in the moon - perfect.

Beautiful shot.

Wonderful shot. And probably the closest I'll get to actually seeing this much talked about moon--too overcast here for a peek.

It is indeed a great shot, the deep blue lingering in the sky makes it even more impressive.

This is a fabulous photo! I saw it too, but we we're on our way to dinner and everyone in the car was so hungry they wouldn't let me stop! Thanks for capturing it!

I love your photo with the trees just below the moon. Wonderful, clear moon, too. (I'm still trying for that!)

Beautiful shot of the moon!

Magnificent! I love the way you composed it with the silhouetted branches. And the sky has such a beautiful color gradient. Good for you for catching this scene...

Lovely--especially with the delicacy of the branches.

That is one fabulous shot. I haven't been successful yet getting a moon shot, so not only does it look great I admire your technical know how.

Very pretty! I've not attempted that yet!
