77:365 Out West
I caught these two men at a local festival. I couldn't decided which picture to use for the theme, so I decided to post both images. The men were enjoying being dressed up like a cowboy, and they were very receptive to having their picture made. When I looked at the pictures, I really saw the difference in the personalities of the two men. The first man was shy and reticent while the second man seems to have an outgoing personality. This is theme #219 Out West.

The sepia tone adds to the old-time look. Nice clear shot -- his laugh lines are pretty clear!
Love these for the theme and love the tinging of the images, makes them both really timeless!!
These could pass as old photos scanned in! Very good job with the tones and great use of the theme.
What great subjects you chose for your Out West theme. They could have been "real" cowboys, they look so comfortable in that persona. Your portraits, and the treatments, are ideal. Great job!

Super shot and perfect processing! What a great find for the elusive "Out West" theme...
very nice, love the sepia tones too. They look right out of the old west.
Great shots! And I like the sepia tone which adds to the theme.
Great shots. The sepia is a good choice. It really looks like the "Old West".
Excellent photos! Yes, the personalities of the men do ring true and come through loud and clear. You did well, m'dear.
Nicely shot....you can see where the 2 men are quite different. I like the old-fashioned look your processing gave it. Now, to put them on the sheriff's wanted poster.....
Great photos. I love the sepia tones.
At first I thought these were restorations of old photos. The sepia is certainly effective!
I love these two photos and the sepia sets them off! Perfect for the theme.
Not much I can add, they are both fantastic portraits.
