70:365 Spiral
70:365 Spiral
A spiral staircase that leads to the top of an observation tower at Wind Creek State Park in Alabama. This was at one time a grain silo, because when Alabama Power built the dam that formed Lake Martin in the 1920's water was backed up over many farming communities. This is theme #298 Spiral.
For this week's Be Creative, I decided to change the image to black and white and add a texture. Here are the results.

Great shot and such a good angle you were able to catch. Looks like a place kids would love but prob get in trouble too.
Love the composition here, really nice find and cool image!
A most unusual image! What the others said, me too!
Good angle for your shot and a great shot for the theme. It actually makes me a little queasey to focus on that winding staircase, spiraling up, up, up!
Super perspective on this spiral! Love the overall effect...
Great photo for spiral. I like angle you've shot it at too. Great find Clara.
Very cool shot, like the perspective.
Nice angle...I love the pattern of the steps as they ascend.
Wonderful shot! I love a good spiral staircase!
Great capture and colors too. Fits the theme perfectly.
Wonderful shot! Great perspective. I like both versions.
This reminded me that I need to exercise. Oh, my aching legs.
An echo to all of the above, the added texture to the b/w is very cool.
Nice angle - I like the way it pulls you upward into the photo.
