70:365 Spiral

70:365 Spiral
A spiral staircase that leads to the top of an observation tower at Wind Creek State Park in Alabama. This was at one time a grain silo, because when Alabama Power built the dam that formed Lake Martin in the 1920's water was backed up over many farming communities. This is theme #298 Spiral.
Wind Creek Silo
For this week's Be Creative, I decided to change the image to black and white and add a texture. Here are the results.

Great shot and such a good angle you were able to catch. Looks like a place kids would love but prob get in trouble too.

Good angle for your shot and a great shot for the theme. It actually makes me a little queasey to focus on that winding staircase, spiraling up, up, up!

This reminded me that I need to exercise. Oh, my aching legs.

An echo to all of the above, the added texture to the b/w is very cool.

Nice angle - I like the way it pulls you upward into the photo.
