64:365 Logs A log cabin in the Cades Cove area of the Great Smoky Mountains. I forgot to post this image earlier. The Carter Shields cabin is the most photographed cabin in the Smoky Mountains. It it very picturesque as you can see. This is theme #175 Logs.

I love the earthy colors and textures.
That's a gorgeous cabin and a beautiful shot. Thanks for sharing.
This looks like the cabin that Jed, Grandma Moses and Ellie Mae were in before BH.
What a beautiful cabin. It is perfect for this theme!! Great texture and color.
I can see why it's a popular photo spot. You've captured it beautifully and made good use of the theme.
My wife and I are headed to the Smokies early next month. I love Cades Cove in the Spring time. Great capture!
The color and texture are fabulous. It does look iconic, beautifully shot.
I agree with Ron! LOL Great shot!
It looks like a painting - nice job
I love this! Did you use a sketch-effect on it? It seems somehow defined by lines.
I love log houses - this is a lovely image of a fine old property. The rich colors are great.
Where is the frame? This is so full of great color and details - LOVE it!
Beautiful lines, magnificent colors, lovely brick fireplace and chimney . . I can see why it is a favorite for photographers. Isn't it amazing how people were once satisfied to live in strident circumstances and grew up happy and strong? Yet, today, we feel we are deprived unless we have a house bordering on being a mansion and at least two cars in the attached garage Magnificent photo!
Great for the theme. I love Codes Cove. You're lucky to live so closeby. My home in Chattanooga is close enough to drive for the weekend, and we never miss a chance to go when we're "home" away from Florida.
A lovely shot and cabin, I'd like to live there!
Beautiful shot of that interesting old cabin. The colors and textures are so rich.
Beautiful shot! You certainly make a good case for visiting Cade's Cove!
Very nice color and composition. Excellent image.
Love this shot, makes me want to be there and experience living in such a place. A taste of the old......
Very nice shot, looks like a place I'd love to sit and read a book.
