Wow, that is fantastic. It really conveys the feeling. Exactly what photographs should do. The weeds and flowers, the texture in the stone. I think the edge is perfect for this too. Great job.
Perfect for your chosen theme! Nice sentiments, but can't be too honest considering the disreputable state the site is in. Your statue weeping "buckets" of tears, considering she has an urn to catch the tears; sitting against the granite and then the weeds at her feet present a very powerful message. Good find, great shot! Maybe even worth to be framed and hung?
I hope that the magnificent texture was what the camera saw not a filter, because that is how I feel all such monuments should age to gain the character that you have captured in this super photo.

Would it be sad to be cast as eternally weeping? It beautiful but kind of sorrowful.
What a beautiful photo and such wonderful texture of the statue.
What a poignant memorial for a grave. You did a lovely job of presenting his pretty statue...

I agree with Iona - definitely should be framed! This makes you wonder what her sad story is!
There is a great deal of grief in this photo--it's full of melancholy. It perfectly illustrates the theme.

Gorgeous & heartwrenching at the same time.
Very moving photo - you can really feel her sorrow.
