125:365 Curly
This is my nephew's little boy. He is adorable with beautiful curly hair. Look what a difference a subtle change in lighting makes as sister was directly facing the window and he was facing perpendicular to the window. I had a great time visiting this sweet family. Theme #71 Curly.

What darling curls! A very handsome little boy and great lighting on the shot. I like the B&W, too.
What a cutie - LOVE those curls! Isn't it funny how the boys always get features that girls would die for? So handsome!
I would love to have that curly hair! Nice portrait.
Because of his eyes, I hardly saw his curls, but that may just be the petulance of a bald man.
What a beautiful child! You've really captured the high and low lights in those curls!
Those blonde curls are going to be embarrassing to him when Mom pulls out this picture 10 years from now. But lets enjoy them before the barber gets to them. At least that was what I told my DD about DGS's curls. Didn't help. They went on the cutting room floor.
He looks like quite a determined young man. Great lighting; the use of B&W is perfect for the mood.
This and your shot of your great-niece are so swell, the differnce in light does give a whole new feel to each shot. They both have expressive eyes that you captured beautifully.
Clara, I think you've been holding out - I never knew you were such a skilled portrait photographer! This is yet again a lovely portrait and it really seems to capture this incredibly handsome boy's personality. I LOVE your processing on this.
Oh, and thanks for mentioning how your light differed between the two shots....very useful information for all of us...
Beautiful portrait of a beautiful child. His expression is angelic.
It's exquisite Clara.
He is so cute and his curls are gorgeous!! Love the effects in this photograph.
