Nice catch, focus and composition. Good colors. That looks like a fairly new rope, yet one would think that rust would wear unnecessarily on the rope. A little sanding or rust remover and a new coat of paint would work wonders. But if it weren't rusted, it might not have caught your interest.

I was about to say great lines but that would have a double meaning. Perfect focus and I like the way the shot is divided...

Well you roped me in, I love the rust, coupled with the new line it has a used now flavour. I wonder with that line so taut what key would it produce if strummed.

I like so many things about this - the deep blue sky, the rust, the rope, the title. Great shot!

Love all the textures you've captured between the rust and the wood on the boat & the sharpness of the photo. Really nice composition as well.

The rust and the colors are outstanding and yet the central star of the photo, the knot, still stands out as the center of attention - nice capture here!

I love the tension in this photo - that taught knot looks great against the rusty pole leaning in the opposite direction.

Nice contrasty photo, and a nice composure too.
