266:365 Rain, Rain Go Away!

266:365 Rain, Rain Go Away!
In case you haven't heard, Atlanta has had a lot of rain lately! I live north of Atlanta, and thank goodness we have not had the amount of flooding that they have had south of us. This is Bethany Bridge across Lake Allatoona and the water is almost touching the bridge. Under normal conditions, very large boats are able to pass under the bridge.

There are people in Atlanta who have lost everything and they have no flood insurance. Please remember these people in your prayers.

I have been saying daily prayers for your area, from the looks of it on the news it is disasterous! Great image to convey the story!

Amazing photo...be careful out there! We finally had rain and, of course, low-lying areas flood quickly, so some folks here have been flooded out of homes again.

Anytime there is weather related disasters, I always feel so helpless - and imagine those effected feel it worse than I do. But, we can give to our churches as they set up disaster relief centers.

The church of Christ has a disaster relief center that is on call at a moments notice.

This tells about what they have already done in Georgia and still plan to do. Go to "home" to donate. I have donated to this site before and can vouch for the good they have done.

That's a pretty impressive scene.
