You've got a nice shot here with the hot water steaming as it is poured. Makes me want to have a cuppa. Would love to have a cuppa each morning. But can't. I used to drink 4 lattes a day, and had to give them up.'Twas hard. Still love to go down the coffee aisle at the store so I can smell the coffee. Once in a while, I'll make a decaff from a "tea" bag in the microwave and put a french vanilla creamer in it so I can think I'm fooling myself.
This is a terrific shot! The B&W treatment is perfect for this one. Love the way you captured the steam and stopped the pouring coffee. "Good to the last drop!"
You are taking such fabulous action shots and this may be my favorite yet. I need coffee to function, too. This shot especially would be a great stock photo...
Clara, I love everything about this one - the choice of black and white is wonderful and the stop action so well executed. Plus, the tight crop helps bring the steamy goodness right to our nose. Well done!
I hope to have time to check out some of your images from the summer - I missed seeing what you've been up to. I always learn so much from you.
The B&W and the coffee pot remind me of when I was very little and living in an apartment in NYC with my parents and grandmother. They made coffee in a "percolator" on the stove. Your photo shot me right back there--I can almost hear Rambling with Gambling on the radio that was on a shelf over the kitchen table.

I'm right there with you, this reminds me, I am thinking I need more caffeine to make it through the day! Fabulous image (I can smell the arouma)!
Ditto on the coffee. You are becoming the queen of stop action. This is great!!
Nope, I dont like coffee or anything with even the slightest taste of coffee... but I cant wake up without my BIG cup of tea :o)
Great picture!!
Sometimes coffee, sometimes tea...just depends on the day I guess! Great shot!

Clara, the way you captured the water(coffee??) with the steam, is very much part of the allure of morning coffee! Very, very well done!
